🇬🇧 Quinn Ellis to St John's

The 6’5 English guard committed to St. John's Red Storm, where he’ll play under Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino in the Big East Conference.

Ellis comes from a professional European system, developing with Olimpia Milano, one of the top clubs in Europe. Unlike typical freshmen, he already brings pro-level experience, size, and maturity at the guard position.

He drew interest from multiple high-major programs before choosing St. John’s - Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Houston and BYU

Scouting notes:

• 6’5 guard with strong positional size

• Comfortable playmaker with feel for the game

• Plays at a controlled pace (European style)

• High IQ, decision-making, and off-ball awareness

• Still developing physically

NCAA programs, especially high-majors, are now aggressively recruiting European guards with pro experience instead of only high school prospects. This guy will be huge for St John's.
